YLD provides to its members the Practice in a Flash series--free CLE courses to meet their biennial CLE requirement.
CLE and Social

This month we will hear from Tiffany Shimada, Mona Burton, Scott Martin, and Jody Graham, regarding the benefits, both personal and professional, of serving on a board of a non-profit organization. The CLE portion will run from 5:00-6:00 pm. We have partnered with the Utah Non-Profit Association to host a social with local non-profit organizations from 6:00-7:30pm. The social will allow YLD members to interact with non-profits looking for potential board members and discuss ways to get involved in the community. The social will have light appetizers and beverages.

CLE - The Ethics of Using Technology for Business Development

Parking instructions: We encourage attendees to use public transportation for this CLE, including the Trax “University” red line. Parking meters may be available in the parking lot east of the law school. Free 2-hour parking is available on the west side of 1400 East (University Street) in front of the law school. Visitor parking is also available east of the law school, in the pay lot located along 1500 East.
CLE - Alimony at Trial and Mediation

Cost: Free for YLD members, $10 for WCBA members, and $15 for all others
Join YLD and the Weber County Bar Association for a CLE discussing alimony at trial and at mediation. A distinguished panel including Hon. (ret.) Brent West – Former Chief Judge, 2nd District Court & Mediator, Catherine Hoskins – Justice Court Judge, Divorce Litigator & Mediator, and Martin Custen – Master Mediator will speak. The panel will address alimony basics, arguments to make and avoid, ethical obligations, and other facets of alimony.
